Voice

David is a dedicated voice teacher who is committed to helping his students reach their vocal goals in a healthy and confident manner. With a holistic approach to teaching, he emphasizes the importance of engaging the whole body in creating a strong and beautiful sound. David believes in peeling back the layers to discover everything within to excel without, helping his students develop a deep understanding of their voice and how to use it effectively.

In addition to his work as a voice teacher, David has a strong background in program development, staff leadership, and event planning. He has served as the Music Coordinator at American Baptist College, where he developed curriculum for the Associates of Arts degree in Music and served as the lead professor of Music. He also acted as a liaison between the community, city officials, and school for the Music and Arts Program, developed and designed innovative campaigns to promote the college of music and arts, and provided music for special events on and off campus.

David has also served as the Director of Music at Covenant Baptist Church, where he organized the order of service from week to week, developed and maintained scheduling of annual performances, conferences, rehearsals, and concerts, and selected weekly repertoire for music ministry. He has also worked as a Program Assistant at Upward Bound, where he designed, planned, and conducted workshops for students ages 15-18 years old, and as an Office Coordinator at Prince George's County Government Department of Corrections, where he served as administration to the Pre-Trial and Classifications Office.

David holds a Doctorate of Education in Leadership in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Northcentral University, a Master of Music in Church Music from Belmont University, and a Bachelor's of Art Degree in Music with a concentration in Choral Conducting from Morehouse College.
